Scholarship Application

It is as easy as 1-2-3

1 Read through the Qualifications below.

• You must demonstrate enrollment in Windsor High School, North Bay Met Academy, Windsor Oaks Academy, or reside in Windsor, CA and be enrolled in an equivalently accredited school.
• You must be eligible for graduation from school.
• If awarded a scholarship, you must be accepted and enrolled in an accredited two-year junior college, four-year college, trade skill program, or career certificate program to receive it. The scholarship amount will be paid directly to the institution upon proof of enrollment.
• Demonstrate the Rotary ideal of “service above self” through family, school, and community involvement.
• School and community service, citizenship, and leadership will be considered in awarding this Scholarship.
• If awarded a scholarship, you have ONE YEAR from the award date to use this scholarship.

2 Review the application requirements

Application Requirements (Applications missing any of the items listed here will be deemed incomplete and will not be evaluated.)

• Complete an activity chart.
• Attach a one-page (single spaced) typed essay about “A hurdle(s) or challenge(s) you have had to overcome, and how you dealt with that challenge.“
• Attach an official High School transcript.
• Include two letters of recommendation. (One from a school employee ((teacher, counselor, administrator)) and One from a community member or family member.)
